Capital Improvement Projects
The following are just a few of the City's capital improvement projects currently underway.
NORTHLAKE BOULEVARD/HIATT DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
Location: Northlake Blvd. and Hiatt Drive
Project: This project includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Northlake Boulevard and Hiatt Drive, which is located at the south entrance of PGA National Park. Lane and asphalt modifications are included.
GARDENS PARKWAY/FAIRCHILD GARDENS DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL
Location: Gardens Parkway and Fairchild Gardens Drive
Project: This project includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Gardens Parkway and Fairchild Gardens Drive, which is located at the northwest corner of the Gardens Mall property. Lane and asphalt modifications are included.
PGA NATIONAL PARK ENHANCEMENTS
Location: The northeast intersection of Ryder Cup Boulevard and Northlake Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens
Project: Expansion of PGA National Park to include multi-purpose fields, field lighting, expanded playground area and equipment, pavilion, concessions/restrooms and other amenities to meet the needs of a growing community. This project will also include parking, security lighting, site enhancements, and sports turf enhancements.
BRIDGE REFURBISHMENT PROJECT
Project: This project includes the rehabilitation of the following bridges:

Avenue of the PGA
MUNICIPAL COMPLEX EMERGENCY OPERATIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS CENTER (EOCC)
Location:
10500 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens
Project: The new LEED Certified or equivalent EOCC will serve to centralize law enforcement communications, emergency dispatch services, and citywide information systems. The EOCC will be located between the existing Police Department building and City Hall.
CITY PARK - PHASE III
Location: The northeast end of 117th Court N., Palm Beach Gardens
Project: This project includes the installation of a playground, tennis courts, picnic facilites, bike trails, and shuffle board area.
LILAC PARK - PHASE III
Location: Northeast end of Lilac Street, Palm Beach Gardens
Project: This project includes the installation of a basketball court, playground, restrooms, parking, picnic facilities and exercise trail.
